This Sales Tax Policy explains how PrintsWizard (printswizard.live) collects and remits sales tax on orders placed through our website, in compliance with the US Supreme Court ruling in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc. (2018) and applicable state tax laws.

1. Why We Collect Sales Tax

Following the 2018 Wayfair ruling, online retailers are required to collect and remit sales tax in states where they have ‘economic nexus’ — meaning they exceed a certain threshold of sales or transactions in that state, even without a physical presence.

PrintsWizard currently collects sales tax in the following states (this list is subject to change as our business grows):

Florida (our home state — sales tax rate: 6%)

Washington
Additional states where economic nexus thresholds are met

We are continuously monitoring our sales volumes in all states and will begin collecting tax as required by law.

3. How Sales Tax Is Calculated

Sales tax is calculated based on the shipping destination of your order.
The applicable tax rate is determined by the destination state, county, and city.
Sales tax is calculated on the product price and any applicable shipping charges where required by state law.

The exact sales tax amount will be displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase

4. Tax-Exempt Purchases

If you are a tax-exempt organization (school, government agency, non-profit, or reseller), you may qualify for tax exemption. To apply:

Email your valid tax-exempt certificate to contact@printswizard.live
Include your organization name, state, and order details
We will verify your exemption and apply it to future orders

Note: Tax-exempt status must be established before placing an order. We cannot retroactively remove tax from completed orders.

5. Sales Tax & Google/Bing Shopping

Our Google Shopping and Bing Shopping product listings display prices inclusive or exclusive of tax as required by each platform’s policies. Final tax amounts are always shown at checkout before payment is collected, in compliance with FTC regulations and platform requirements
